The Noblesville Millers traveled to Elwood Community High School on Saturday and drove back home to Noblesville as Sectional Champions, winning the title with a winning team score of 214.5.

The Millers were led by Joey Kitko and Seth Stone who earned Sectional Championships in their weight classes; while Tim Alexander, Austin Hastings, and Cesar Sierra were runners-up. Every Miller who competed in the sectional placed in the top six of their weight class.

The team advanced ten wrestlers to the Pendleton Heights Regional: Tim Alexander, Paxton Cook, Ben Decker, Gage Gulley, Austin Hastings, Joey Kitko, Bryce Murray, Carter Richardson, Cesar Sierra, and Seth Stone.

Jacob Etchison, Cooper Frahm, Nathaniel Gregory, and Brenden Humphrey are each Regional Alternates.

The title marks the 22nd Sectional Championship in the program’s history; it’s the 7th sectional title since 2010 and the first since 2016.

The Millers will compete in the Pendleton Heights Regional on Saturday.
