The Noblesville Millers took the lead late in the game in a 6-3 non-conference victory over Avon on Wednesday. The game was tied at three with the Millers batting in the top of the eighth when Ella White doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring three runs.

Avon evened things up at three in the bottom of the sixth inning when L Miller singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
After Noblesville scored one run in the top of the third, Avon answered with one of their own. The Millers scored when Julia Furiak singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
Maddie Taylor earned the victory on the rubber for the Millers. She lasted eight innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out eight.
Karli Steward took the loss for Avon. She allowed two hits and three runs over one inning, striking out two and walking zero.

Noblesville saw the ball well today, racking up fifteen hits in the game. White, Scout Duplaga, Chloe Tragesser, and Abby Brown all managed multiple hits for the Millers.
Tiara Edwards led Avon with two hits in four at bats.
