The Noblesville Millers defeated the Franklin Central Flashes 4 – 0 on Wednesday night at Hallmark Orthodontics Soccer Complex in Noblesville.
Isabella Griffey opened up the scoring in the 11th minute with a rebound goal off a Jenna Chatterton header attempt that was saved by the Franklin Central goalkeeper. Kiana Siefert scored in the 17th minute after fielding a through pass from Chatterton; Siefert raced to the goal and sent the ball home for the 2 – 0 lead.
The Millers put the game away early in the second half. Ava Bramblett scored in the 48th minute and Chatterton added the final goal a minute later.
With the win, the Millers clinched the Hoosier Crossroads Conference for the second straight year, and for the 4th time in the last six years. This marks the Miller Soccer program’s 12th HCC Championship.
The Millers (9-0, 6-0 HCC) will travel to Newton Park in Lakeville on Saturday to play the Penn Kingsmen. Junior Varsity and C-Team will play concurrently at 11:00 a.m. and the Varsity game will follow.
