The Noblesville Millers finished in 5th place at Saturday’s Shelbyville Semi-State to advance to the IHSAA State Finals.

Travis Hickner led the Millers to the finish line with a 5th place time of 15:46.18 and Cole Kimmel came in with a 12th place time of 15:58.22; both Millers earned All-Semi-State honors with their performances. Evan Campbell finished 60th place (16:47.31), Jack Taylor finished 66th place (16:52.09), Asher Propst finished 70th place (16:54.08), Luke Shinneman finished 81st place (17:03.02), and Kolby Kazmierski finished 147th (17:57.12).

The Millers will make their 9th trip to the IHSAA State Finals and the first since 2010. Travis Hickner returns after finishing 21st in last years State Finals. The State Finals are held on Saturday at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute.
