The Noblesville Millers nabbed the lead late in the game in a 9 – 6 victory over the Pendleton Heights Arabians on Saturday.
In the top of the fifth inning, Noblesville tied things up at six when Ethan Wood singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
The game was tied at six with the Millers batting in the top of the sixth when Reece Corley singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
Gideon Springer pitched six innings for the Millers, allowing no runs, five hits, and two strikeouts.
Noblesville racked up 11 hits in the game. Wood, Sam Deno, Blake Widget, and Austin Hastings each managed multiple hits. Hastings, Widget, Deno, and Wood all had two hits to lead the Millers. Hastings led Noblesville with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.
