The Noblesville Millers defeated Franklin Central 8-4 on Saturday after taking the lead late in the game. With zero outs in the top of the seventh, an error scored two runs for Noblesville.
Franklin Central scored four runs in the third inning, but Noblesville still managed to pull out the victory. Reidenbach, Palmer, and Schooley all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
The Millers got things moving in the first inning, when Greg Langlois doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Noah Bennington pitched Noblesville to victory. He lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out eight.
Brown took the loss for Franklin Central. He lasted five innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out five.
Noblesville totaled ten hits. Dean White and Jacob Weiler each collected multiple hits for the Millers. Weiler and White all had two hits to lead Noblesville. Mason Bohland led the Millers with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases.
Reidenbach went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Franklin Central in hits.
