The Noblesville Millers had no trouble on offense today, defeating Zionsville 12-1 for a Hoosier Crossroads Conference victory on Tuesday evening in Zionsville.

In the first inning, the Millers got their offense started when Ella White homered on a 1-2 count, scoring three runs.

Maddie Taylor earned the win for the Millers and allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings while striking out four and walking one. Baily Ryan and Kira Thomas entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

A Stewart took the loss for Zionsville, surrendering five runs on six hits over two innings.

Noblesville saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game; Emily Minett, White, and Abby Brown all had multiple hits to lead the Millers.

White’s first inning home run marked her twelfth home run of the season, breaking the single-season school record for home runs previously set by Indiana Miss Softball Katie Harrison in 2011 and Zoe Schaffer in 2015.
