The Noblesville Millers fell 11 – 0 to Cathedral on Monday at Brunette Park in Indianapolis despite out-hitting the Fighting Irish five to three.
The Millers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Cathedral, giving up 11 runs.
One bright spot for Noblesville was a single by Drew Niswonger in the second inning.
Gallagher was the winning pitcher for Cathedral. The hurler went four and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on five hits, striking out seven, and walking one.
Jared Crandall took the loss for the Millers. The righty lasted three innings, allowing two hits and six runs while striking out four.
Noblesville racked up five hits in the game. Dean White and Jacob Weiler each racked up multiple hits for the Millers. Weiler and White each managed two hits to lead Noblesville.
Cathedral didn’t commit a single error in the field. Stiner had the most chances in the field with seven.
