The Millers beat the Royals of Hamilton Southeastern 1-0 on Tuesday night. Despite some injuries that depleted the Millers bench, they fought in the first half, especially against the wind. On one of their many counter attacks up the wings, Tommy Gregory was able to dribble to the end line and send a nice, low cross through the box that Sam Johnson was able to slide into the net past the outstretched arms of the Royals keeper. The Millers went into halftime up 1-0.
In the second half, the Royals pushed many players forward trying to find the equalizer but the defensive line and goalkeeper Josh Lewis held strong to keep the clean sheet. The Millers now have a record of 9-5-1 and look to finish their regular season with a win against a ranked Brownsburg team on Thursday at home.
