The Millers were back in action tonight against Zionsville for one of their few home games this year. It was a beautiful day for some soccer.
The game started off quickly for Zionsville where a little bit of pressure led to a Noblesville own goal which gave the Eagles a 1-0 advantage. Soon, the Millers came roaring back with a great goal from forward Dario Torres with a great ball from Drew Decker. This tied the game up and stayed that way going into halftime.
In the second half, the Millers managed to get their second after a multitude of opportunities that weren’t taken advantage of. Kevin Davalos-Olivares found the back of the net off of a corner kick from Noah Adams and a deflection off of the heads of multiple Noblesville defenders. This lead turned out to be enough to see the Millers victorious by the end of the game.
The JV Gold team is back in action tomorrow at Avon High School at 6pm.
