Your Noblesville Millers were back in action tonight for their final game of this all-but-traditional season. They were visiting the HSE Royals to finish out their conference schedule.
The first half was even on both sides with both teams having a decent amount of opportunities. However, the Royals had the advantage overall in the quality of chances they created. That changed after HSE fouled Dom Fisher at about 23 yards away from goal. The following free kick was sweetly put into the back of the net by sophomore Noah Adams with about five minutes to go in the half. This let the Millers find a 1-0 advantage going into halftime.
The second half was dominated by HSE, who had many chances to level the game. This continued up until the 55′ when Pavlos Michaeloff found the back of the net on a rebound from a shot by Kevin Davalos-Olivares. This was the start of three Miller goals in quick succession. Two minutes after Michaeloff’s goal, he found a long ball through to Dario Torres who crossed it in for Davalos-Olivares to finish to give the Millers a 3-0 advantage. About 3 minutes later, Torres found the back of the goal himself off of an assist from Gabe Fryling and Will Kaufman. This took the Millers to a commanding 4-0 lead that would seal out the game.
The Miller defense, as has been the case for most the season, was led by Dugan Webster in goal, Ashton Craig, Calvin Lighty, Josh Clawson, and Alex Pursch. They were the key to many Miller victories this year.
This was the Millers’ final game of the season. With this win, their final record was 10-3-2. Thank you for all your support this season and we can’t wait to see what next season has in store.
