The JV Black Millers were on the road this evening facing Brebeuf Jesuit

The first half started well with great chemistry from Freshman players Clay Janes, Landon Huber, Jake Johns, Jackson Montgomery, and Hayden Ferguson. The first goal was scored by center back Cole Bramblett from the defending side of the field. A solid strike indeed. A strong defensive push from Andy Stansfield and Luke Watness helped to keep Brebeuf from challenging goalie Gabe Ingle in the first half.

Both teams started the second half with high energy. Center mids Kyle Marshall, Bryan Diaz-Villalobos, and Sam VanMeter were able to move the ball around to help Jake Sexton find his first goal of the season. Shortly after, Oscar Reynolds finds his first goal of the season from the left wing. Great efforts out in by all our Miller boys to win the game 3-0 leaving the Millers with their record of 2-0-1.

You can catch them again on Tuesday playing at Fishers. See you there!
