Noblesville Swimming & Diving Dayana Popa Places 11th at State Finals

Senior diver Dayana Popa made it through the prelims, semifinals and then to finals at IHSAA State on Saturday. Popa finished 11th overall. She has committed to dive for Missouri in the fall. Congratulations diving coach Chelsea Ale and head Coach Rich Wolfred.

Noblesville Swimming & Diving Alexa Akers places 24th at state in Butterfly

The girl’s IHSAA state swimming preliminaries were Friday night at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis. Noblesville senior Alexa Akers finished her high school swimming career with a 24th place among a very fast field of swimmers. Akers will be attending IU Bloomington in the fall.

Noblesville Diver Dayana Popa Finishes 5th at Regionals, Advances to State

Noblesville senior diver Dayana Popa finished 5th in fierce regional diving competition at Hamilton Southeastern on Tuesday Night. After qualifying to continue after 8 of 11 dives, she advanced from 7th to 5th place. State diving competition will be Saturday morning at the IUPUI Natatorium with finals for both swimming and diving at 1:00pm.
