Noblesville placed sixth at the IHSAA Girls Golf State Finals at Battle Ground Golf Club over the weekend, finishing with a two-day team total of 668 (+92). The Millers opened with a 337 in the first round, tied for eighth. They improved by six strokes in the second round, shooting 331, the sixth-best team score of the day, to move up two spots in the final standings to finish in sixth place. Junior Lauren Turpin led Noblesville, shooting a first round 81 and a second round 80 for a 161 (+17) to tie for 29th. Sophomore Olivia Herche placed 40th with rounds of 83 and 82 for a 165 (+21). Sophomore Myra Sealey shot 86-83 for a 169 (+25) to tie for 49th, and sophomore Anne Etter tied for 65th at 88-86, 174 (+30). Junior Keelin Werkley shot 87 in the first round, and freshman Adalyn Malicoat shot 88 in the second round.
