Noblesville Schools Release October 17, 2019

Noblesville Schools has announced that the Noblesville High School (NHS) girls basketball team has established a scholarship fund in honor of recently deceased NHS basketball legends Krissi Davis and Courtney Cox-Cole.

“Honoring the legacy of these two amazing women means so much to me and to our whole basketball program,” said Donna Buckley, Noblesville High School girls varsity basketball coach. “Krissi and Courtney were role models in basketball and in life, representing excellence on and off the floor. This scholarship will give today’s students an opportunity to follow in their footsteps by pursuing their dreams and making a difference in the lives of others.”

The scholarship fund will be managed through the Noblesville Schools Education Foundation (NSEF) and will provide financial assistance each year for senior members of the NHS girls basketball team.

The team will celebrate the legacies of Davis and Cox-Cole at November 9, 2019 games in their honor. The junior varsity game tips off at 5PM and the varsity game will start at approximately 6:30PM. Proceeds from both games will go towards the scholarship fund.
