The Noblesville Millers Unified Track & Field team continued to make the city of Noblesville and Noblesville High School proud; as they finished in 3rd place in the 4th annual IHSAA State Finals.
Since the IHSAA adopted Unified Track & Field, Noblesville is the only Unified Track & Field program to advance to the IHSAA State Finals in each of the first 4 years of this event!
Results from the State Finals:
In the 100 Meter Dash:
Noah Brisco placed 7th in his heat with a time of 12.66. Tori Bonar placed 4th in her heat with a time of 19.68. Nash Huffman Placed 6th with a time of 21.74. Jessica Sell placed 5th in her heat with a time off 23.61.
In the 400 Meter Dash:
Gurvinder Gill placed 2nd his 400 meter dash heat with a time of 55.58. Blake Buckner placed 3rd in his heat with a time of 1:08.46. Sam Salmon finished 5th in her heat with a time of 1:19.22. Evan Stivers placed 7th in the final heat with a time of 1:59.14.
In the 4×1 Relay Noblesville’s Jake Burton, Luke Johnston, Keaton Minick, and Mailan Smail placed 5th with a time of 57.63.
In the Mixed Long Jump:
Drew Owens placed 2nd with a distance of 17-11. Josie Sanders placed 1st in her heat with a distance of 14-07. Maggie Derksen placed 3rd in her flight with a distance of 6-03, while Cade Heller placed 5th in the same flight with a distance of 5-06.75.
In the Shot Put:
Kristen Reel placed 1st in her Shot Put flight with a distance of 26-00. Grant Bullard took home 3rd in his flight with a distance of 47-04. Katie Glover placed 5th in her flight with a distance of 17-06, while Zack Reising placed 6th with a distance of 16-08.
