“What a lot of people don’t understand about competition cheerleading is you get one time on the mat, one shot at perfection! You must give 100% effort for two minutes and 30 seconds to prove that you are the best,” said Noblesville cheerleading coach Crystal Scott. “There are no redos.” Winning the state title was something the girls had been focusing on since the beginning of the season.

The Millers moved back to a competition cheer team in 2014 the same year Coach Scott was named new head coach. The ladies placed 3rd at the finals in 2014 and 4th in 2015. The cheer team won state in 1997 when they won the Coed Division.

Coach Scott and assistant coach Andrew Masten worked a lot this year on improving the teams tumbling skills. “These girls have worked so hard this season,” said Scott. “This group of girls have not only won the Title, but have learned many important lifelong lessons along the way. I couldn’t be more proud as a coach. I’m still enjoying it and taking it all in.”

The Millers went undefeated this season along with being named Grand Champions at Pudue University. #bustrip #sweep
