The Noblesville Lady Millers fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 13-7 loss to Franklin Central on Friday.

Franklin Central scored on a home run by Jenkins in the second inning.

Despite the loss, Noblesville did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Franklin Central had ten hits on the way to victory.

Noblesville scored four runs in the fifth inning to cut the lead to two. The Lady Millers big inning was driven by a single by Bri Tragesser and a single by Maddie Moore.

Franklin Central scored six runs in the third inning. The big inning for Franklin Central came thanks to a grand slam by Back, a error, and a double by Austin.

Back earned the win for Franklin Central. She threw seven innings, surrendering seven runs, ten hits, and striking out six. Brooke Herron took the loss for Noblesville. She pitched three innings, surrendering eight runs, six hits, striking out one, and walking one.

Tragesser, Herron, and Julia Furiak each collected multiple hits for Noblesville. Furiak, Tragesser, and Moore each drove in two runs to lead Noblesville.

Back, Jenkins, and K Hart each collected multiple hits for Franklin Central.
